#1 qstor Feb 04, 2004 20:52:22	Has anyone converted 2e Spelljammer ships to the 3e stats used in SotSM? I found a few on http://flits3.aeoius.nl/ which is a pretty good site but the speed rating is off. Any ideas on a conversion or other ships? thanks Mike
#2 nightdruid Feb 05, 2004 12:26:00	I haven't, nor do I really have an interest in it, but here's some suggestions: Cut ship size in half. SJ ships are behemoths compared to SotSM ships. Increase the number of weapons, replacing most with cannons. Not sure on HP and other stats, so I can't help there.
#3 Dragonhelm Feb 05, 2004 12:26:37	I'm not aware of any other ship conversions using the Spider Moon system. You may check Beyond the Moons, the official SJ site. They have some Spider Moon materials. Another system I would highly recommend is Airships by Bastion Press. I tried one or two ship conversions, and they turned out well. You would have to figure out how to do helms. However, Airships provides neat options in regards to various engine types. Plus, it has ship templates, which are cool. The guys who make Aether and Flux are supposed to do some ship conversions using their system, but I have yet to see it. That's done by Dark Furies. Hope that helps.
