#1zombiegleemaxFeb 08, 2004 20:51:19 | "We shall know what the darkness discovers, If the grave-pit be shallow or deep; And our fathers of old, and our lovers, We shall know if they sleep not or sleep. We shall see whether hell be not heaven, Find out whether tares be not grain, And the joys of the seventy times seven, Our Lady of Pain." - "Dolores", Algernon Charles Swinburn |
#2zombiegleemaxFeb 08, 2004 21:17:07 | Ohhh! She soo cute... WAIT! I DIDN'T MEAN IT! NOOOOOO! *sounds of me getting flayed alive* |
#3OrnumFeb 08, 2004 21:19:18 | I had read that somewhere before, but I can't remember when I was first directed to that poem. So, after an internet search, and for the benefit of everyone, follow the link to the entire poem. Dolores Of course you had to include your humorous little "chibi" Lady, didn't you, Primus? |
#4factol_rhys_dupFeb 08, 2004 21:20:51 | That's so sodding cute I just feel like prostrating myself before it and worshipping it to no end. Or I would if it hadn't gotten dark all of a sudden. *ka-FLAY!* |
#5zombiegleemaxFeb 08, 2004 21:21:03 | The Chibi Lady was really what I wanted to show, of course. The poem fragment was just to start it off serious. Especially if one can't see the Chibi Lady on the screen and they read the poem and then look down and see the Lady and go fom serious to "... WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?!" Its all in the presentation. |
#6factol_rhys_dupFeb 08, 2004 21:51:26 | I've never heard of the Lady killing someone who depicted her in a ridiculous manner, but I'm pretty sure this is a flayable offense. |
#7zombiegleemaxFeb 08, 2004 21:54:16 | She'd have to find me first. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! |

#11choleric_psionFeb 09, 2004 19:43:51 | That picture is so cool! Where did you get it? |
#12caoslayerFeb 11, 2004 4:24:43 | wow! pretty funny! a curious fact... in spanish Dolores (besides being a very used female name) means literaly pains. so the lady of pain would be something like "la Dama de los Dolores" :D |

#15zombiegleemaxFeb 11, 2004 17:32:49 | i disbeleive, Primus. It's not orderly enough to be your work. |
#16choleric_psionFeb 11, 2004 18:22:53 | Do you have your own art site because I would definately like to see work Primus. |
#17zombiegleemaxFeb 11, 2004 18:58:12 | Here's more of my PS-related work, if you'd like to see it. -A few more pictures of the Lady -An Ultroloth -An Alhoon -A Quadrone Warrior |
#18Shemeska_the_MarauderFeb 11, 2004 20:42:37 | Ok, you're really good So... whats the chance we can see an Arcanaloth? *all of a sudden looks kind, compassionate and downright socially pleasant for a 'loth* |
#19factol_rhys_dupFeb 11, 2004 21:13:47 | Ooh ooh! And me! Do me next! The Cadence commands you! I worry about our poor Lady's health. She's so skinny. Are those dabus feeding her enough? Though in all seriousness, that's some excellent work. I would think it would be hard to concentrate in the middle of all those gears. And do more of that weird little guy in the Alhoon picture. |

#21factol_rhys_dupFeb 11, 2004 21:56:25 | Hmm... not quite what I meant. I never would have thought a yugoloth to have such a dirty mind. But, in response to your question, I would guess either the best servants of law or the worst. Either they would just *know* their orders from the Cadence without needing to be told them, or they would never do the right thing because they don't waste time computing the variables. Impulsive zenythri. |
#22caoslayerFeb 12, 2004 8:44:11 | Originally posted by Factol Rhys lol, I dont know what it is the funnest part of the sentence... Factol Rhys saying that never would have throught... or that yogoloth dont have a dirty mind |
#23zombiegleemaxFeb 12, 2004 9:06:26 | You know, Shemeska, I have quite a few pictures of Arcanoloths littering my sketchbook, but I can't get them looking good enough to ever finish. I haven't given Rhy a shot, perhaps I'll do her next. |
#24bob_the_efreetFeb 12, 2004 14:12:24 | Does that modron have a lightsabre? |
#25zombiegleemaxFeb 12, 2004 14:28:51 | Its a +1 Brilliant Energy Baton woohoo! |
#26choleric_psionFeb 12, 2004 17:03:22 | Gods Damn your good! Posting your pictures now makes me want to practice my skills more and wish I had a much larger planescape liberary...ah well... |
#27zombiegleemaxFeb 12, 2004 18:05:52 | : Primus blushes: Hehe, thank you. Wait, I shouldn't be able to blush! :Runs a systems check: That editting monkey is loose in the boiler room! Somebody stop him before-! :Screen goes dead: |
#28zombiegleemaxMar 05, 2004 11:40:34 | I like the b&w Lady, but it still looks just a little to manga to me. I actually really like manga-influenced work, and I think yours is really good from a technical perspective, but manga just isn't Planescape! The Illithid is great, though, and so is the modron. Both look awsome. |
#29zombiegleemaxMar 05, 2004 16:19:02 | Wow! Really good Primus! Looks really orderly! Doesn't look tainted by chaos at all! (; (this was an attemt at a compliment) |
