Greyhawk the Adventure Begins

Feb 23, 2004 18:10:14 I just got Greyhawk the Adventure Begins from Ebay, and I think I got ripped of ...kinda.
The book is like brand new, but on the back it says it comes with a 16 page map booklet. I searched through the book, then the package it came in, but no booklet. Does anyone have any information for me on what I missed out on? Since alot of passages about Greyhawk city have F12 or C6 or other letter number combos I'm assuming the booklet was somewhat necessary to have. Maybe someone has an idea where I could get ahold of the maps? Either way just wanted others 2 cents.

Feb 23, 2004 19:06:45 Unfortunately for you there is a 16 page map booklet you missed out on. It is a decent set of maps that coverd areas near and inside the Free City of Greyhawk domain. It is a nice addition to any faithful Greyhawker's map trove. You could always buy the PDF version online.

Feb 24, 2004 2:57:16 Yah, it's only 16 pages of black and white maps, so buying the PDF and printing those pages wouldn't be too bad an option.

Also, go give the guy you bought it from some feedback, it's possible this was an innocent oversight, but you should still let people know he goofed, in case it's not an isolated incident.

Feb 24, 2004 6:38:19 Ok I E-mailed the seller who was very nice about it and offered to take the book back or refund some of the price. I chose to keep the book. I also went and downloaded the PDF and now have another question. How many pages is the city of Greyhawk map?? The PDF has 2 pages and it looks like a third is missing.

Feb 24, 2004 6:57:31 BTW thanks for the PDF idea. Even if I'm missing a third page to the greyhawk city map, the first two pages consist of the city. theres just words cut off on the right that makes me think there is a third page.

- The booklet is 16 pages, the first 5 explain the maps, the other 11 pages contain said maps (of towns, strongholds, and ruins).
- There's also a cardboard map; the inside shows the city of Greyhawk (2 pages) to be used with the books entries (Txx).
- Finally, the outside of the cardboard map details the 'Domains of Greyhawk' (in color).
