#1angalFeb 26, 2004 19:31:27 | What i want to know is, whatever happened to Gilthanas and that silver dragon? he was a prince wasn't he, After the War od the lance I don't reamember hearing of him, I think i saw somewhere a about about him but I'm not sure. And Will there be any books invalving Dalamar, perhaps somthing like the book Dalamar the dark, I like him as a char cuz well he is a dark elf, And I play a dark elf Necromancer in all the muds I have ever played on. And when will we see any epic world changing books like the DLCS, cuz they rock. This has nothing to do with anything But my little saying at the bottem was Said by me oocly while playing a half elf druid in regards to a dwarven demi god that failed his will save on a sleep spell, And yes, they all laughed at me |

Gilthanas' time between the end of the War of the Lance and the time just before the Chaos War is only vaguely documented--he spent some time in Kalaman as their governor, but not much more is known. Just before the events of DoSF, he was captured and secretly imprisoned by the Silvanesti, escaping just before the Silvanesti Shield (cf. the DRAGONLANCE: FIFTH AGEboxed set, the game supplement The Sylvan Veil, and/or Dragons of a Fallen Sun) was raised. He spent about twenty-five years searching for Silvara--this is covered in the Odyssey of Gilthanas short story collection and sourcebook--and finally reunited with her in The Day of the Tempest, the second volume of the Dragons of a New Age Trilogy. At last report, they were trying to rally the forces of Good against the White Dragon Overlord Gellidus, who rules over Southern Ergoth. And Will there be any books invalving Dalamar, perhaps somthing like the book Dalamar the dark, I like him as a char cuz well he is a dark elf, And I play a dark elf Necromancer in all the muds I have ever played on. Dalamar's story after Dalamar the Dark spans the Legends trilogy, The Second Generation, Dragons of Summer Flame, Dragons of a Lost Star, and Dragons of a Vanished Moon, the last two being the second and third volumes of the War of Souls Trilogy. He's scheduled to play a major role in the forthcoming Wizard's Conclave novel this summer, and judging from the cover art, he's to be played by Hugo Weaving. :-) Matthew L. Martin |
