I know that if someone puts the crown over the corpse of yarus, he awakes. But in the Classics (VolII) it says something about "putting the 33rd piece on the board". What is this item? Where can it be found? I know that yarus called Virkhus his 33rd piece, but the text mentions something about this "putting the 33rd piece on the board". Can someone help me? k, thats all... Burger |
| #2zombiegleemaxFeb 27, 2004 20:47:40 | If I recall it correctly, then.... 1) A bandit/barbarian is captured by the Knights of Solamnia and is imprisioned in the High Clerists Tower 2) They establish a Rapport, and become friends, playing some sort of chess game. 3) They were each spending a day on the game pondering one move per day. 4) the High Clerist Yarus disappears on the NIGHT OF DOOM, when all the True Clerics disappear, 13 days before the Cataclysm. 5) The Barbarian waits for the High Clerist to return to continue their match. 6) The Barbarians troops assult the High Clerists Tower on the day of the Cataclysm, and are in the Tower when the Cataclysm hits. The result turns everyone into ghosts of some kind as they are fighting in the battle. In the DragonLance thingy camapign setting, it leads up where if the Players make it to the Game Chamber way up on the tower, and find the Barbarian still waiting for the High Clerist to return. THe Players can start playing in the High Clerists place. if the Players win, the High Clerist reappears, bows to the barbarian, and then informs the KNights of Solamnia to allow them to prepare for the attack by the Dragons. ALso, in the setting, the ghosts of over 500 Knights of Solamnia will appear in the battle to aid against the Blue Dragon Army. |
