I was mildly bored, so I made this PrC. If anyone wants to evaluate it, feel free - it was designed with a bard/cleric of Branchala in mind that was in one of my games. I would submit to dragonlance.com, but since they've not got back to me after I tried to send them that adventure that one... well, both those times, I'll let them take it off here if they want it. Branchalan Hymist Although a loosely knit organisation, the church of brnachala is recognised as being an important part of may people's lives - at fairs, carnivals, jousts, even market days in certain towns. Clerics perform songs or other tricks for the populace, usuallyimparting some form of advice to their audience - and they will nearly always be the centre of attention when they get to an inn at the end of the day. Some clerics, however, have a special link with the Song of Life - a part in the chorus. Their link to the Bard King is so strong, that they can sing parts of the Song, bestowing the favour of Branchala on all who stop to listen. Hit die: d8 Requirements Spellcasting - 3rd level divine spells Skills - perform (sing) 8 ranks Bardic music special ability Must be a member of the church of Branchala Class skills Balance, Bluff, Concentration, Craft, Diplomacy, disguise, Gather information, Heal, Hide, Knowledge (nature), Knowledge (religion), Listen, Move silently, Perform, Profession, Sense motive, Spellcraft, Tumble 4 skill points/level Class features Weapon and armour proficiencies - None gained Bardic music - Levels of Branchalan Hymnist stack with bard for determining number of bardic songs/day. Hymns - as a full-round action, a Branchalan Hymnist may sing a hymn, using up both the prepared spell and a bardic music to do so. These spells are then cast as an area effect with 10' radius, centred on the hymnist. At 9th level, this area increases to 20'. Spellcasting - clerical and bardic spell progression continues. Ish. Life's Dance - By tapping directly into the life force of willing target creatures, the Branchalan Hymnist may freely transfer hp from a healthier target to a less healthy one, up to the less healthy one's maximum hp. Source of Life - As the Branchalan Hymnist gains in power, so too does the strength of the Song. At level 6, the Hymnist gains the extraordinary ability to naturally heal hp and ability score damage twice as fast as they should. Song of Life - At 10th level, the Branchalan Hymnist has mastered their part in the Song of Life, and can, to an extent, improvise their part. 1/week, the Hymnist can perform a Reincarnate on any willing creature that has been dead for less than a day, although the material components remain the same.
