#1zombiegleemaxMar 03, 2004 14:13:35 | What is the chronological order of the Post War of Souls novels? I understand that the first, chronologically, is Night of Blood to be soon followed by Tides of Blood, then Amber and Ashes. What is the correct chronological order? |
#2brimstoneMar 03, 2004 14:44:18 | I don't think there really is one. Obviously the Minotaur Wars should be read in order...and it sounds like the Dark Disciple trilogy will take place about a year after the War of Souls. Other than that...I guess there's Prisoner of Haven and Wizard's Conclave which we don't really know when they take place yet...but it's probably a safe bet to assume the first is during the War of Souls and the later is about 6 months after the War of Souls (trying to compare them to the DLCS). Then there's Lake of Death which obviously has to be after the War of Souls (again I would guess 6 months ala DLCS). But, if you absolutely needed an order to read them...it's probably the following: Conundrum The Lioness War of Souls Trilogy Dark Thane Prisoner of Haven The Minotaur Wars Trilogy Linsha Trilogy Wizard's Conclave Lake of Death Dark Disciple Trilogy This is at best, just a guess. But, I think the idea is that there will be very little (if any) cross over between books that are not in the same series so that they can all happen concurrently, and therefore most likely not necessary to read in any certain order (outside the series themselves). |
