#1calabozoMar 04, 2004 15:53:05 | A friend of mine told me he has this guide, but that its and old one for 2nd edition, should I read it or is a waste of time with all the changes in the world since that time? those it need a lot of work to use it for 3.5? Thanks. |
#2ranger_regMar 04, 2004 17:22:44 | It's been a long while, but IIRC, it doesn't have any useful game information other than perhaps stats. Correct me if I'm wrong. The only 2nd edition update of DL (aside from SAGA... let's not go there) is the Tales of the Lance boxed and Dragonlance Monstrous Compendium Appendix. |

Abbreviated here meaning = all the background material of the boxed set, but with little to no rules. It's good background material for anyone running a campaign set in the War of the Lance era, but progressively becomes less useful the further down the timeline you proceed. |

Plus it serve a starting reference for those that wants to play in post-War of the Lance setting but before the timeline event that took place in Dragons of Summer Flame. IOW, fluff material. |
