#1zombiegleemaxMar 08, 2004 14:36:52 | I can't remember where I read this (some minis board, perhaps), but someone mentioned that the new minis (giants of legend) will have some famous figures of Greyhawk. Any truth to this one? |
#2HalberkillMar 08, 2004 16:35:19 | Well, supposedly the bald 3.5 version of Mordenkainen is pictured on one of the packages for the Giants of Legend set. Halber |
#3zombiegleemaxMar 09, 2004 14:24:50 | How cool it would be to have an entire set devoted to Greyhawk figures. Let's see, there's Turin, there's Yrag, there's Fonkin... Of course, most of their current figs easily double as these people already. Still... |
#4valharicMar 09, 2004 15:50:26 | It's quite possible the the fire giant on the box cover is King Snurr (SP?), the fire giant from Against the Giants. I'd like to see the circle of eight and any other mage that has a spell named after them. Maybe some scarlet brotherhood figures. Speculation is abound!!! |
#5zombiegleemaxMar 13, 2004 4:41:24 | Gord, Obmi, Melf, Chert, and Gellor would be just a few that I'd like to see... |
#6zombiegleemaxMar 15, 2004 0:32:43 | emperor norton: Gord, Obmi, Melf, Chert, and Gellor would be just a few that I'd like to see... I've heard of Melf. Who're these other guys? |
#7impy_and_chimpy_dupMar 15, 2004 12:26:32 | If I may answer for EN, I believe they are characters from Gygax's Greyhawk novels. |
#8zombiegleemaxMar 17, 2004 3:16:03 | Vecna, Kas, Grand Duke Owen of Geoff, King Kimbertos Skotti (the Lion King), a Scarlet Brotherhood Monk/Assassin perhaps, Mogthrasir the Giant King, the Traitor Rary, and Bigby maybe? |
#9mortellanMar 17, 2004 3:37:02 | If they made minis of Greyhawk characters, wouldn't that mean WotC is supporting the game world? Not to be cynical but I doubt many of those ideas would ever happen. |
