#1zombiegleemaxMar 10, 2004 0:04:58 | I finally picked this up today. The Elmore art is nice but didn't blow me away and since I already had the 3.5 D&D screen I didn't really have much need for a new one. But the book inside is a real gem. All kinds of great info on how various D&D monsters fit into DL and a lot of cool adventure hooks. I particularly like the story behind Idoskeplas (where'd you come up with that name???;) ) the Beholder. Good stuff all around. I'm sitting here pouring through it as if it were a full-on sourcebook. Good job, I'm really impressed. |

Though I use the screen in addition to the 3.5 screen I got from Dragon Magazine... this gives me a 7 sided screen and a ton of room, though we game on a big table to its not like I'm taking my player's space... Hey anything that'll get me more sheilded room for my books and gear. Still I agree that the booklet is the real gem. Its already an essential part of my gear. |
