I'm inexperienced with Feat design, so your input is welcome. Additional Hand [General] Through understanding of your own mechanics, you have gained the ability to transform one of your wings into a functional hand. Region Modron Outcast Prerequisite character level 3rd, Int 15+ Benefit Upon taking this Feat choose one of your two vestigal wings (hereby known as a versitile appendage). At will, as an action you may transform (either or both if applicable) of your versatile appendage(s) into a fully functional grasping hand if they are in vestigal wing form. At will, as an action you may transform your versatile appendages into vestigal wings. Versatile appendages with the Additional Hand Feat count as off-hands, unless an Ambidexterity Feat is purchased and applied to the versatile appendage(s). In order for the Ambidexterity Feat to be applied, neither of your two front hands must count as off-hands, however only one Ambidexterity Feat is neccessary for two versatile appendages. Special This Feat may be bought twice, each time applying to a different vestigal wing. Restored Wing [General] Through understanding of your own mechanics, you have gained the ability to transform one of your vestigal wings into a fully functional wing. Region Modron Outcast Prerequisite character level 9th, Int 15+ Benefit Upon taking this Feat choose one of your two vestigal wings (hereby known as a versitile appendage). At will, as an action you may transform (either or both if applicable) of your versatile appendage(s) into a fully functional wing if they are in vestigal wing form. At will, as an action you may transform your versatile appendages into vestigal wings. In order to take advantage of this Feat each versatile versatile appendage must have this Feat applied to it. If both versatile appendages have this Feat you have a Fly speed of 30ft Special This Feat may be bought twice, each time applying to a different vestigal wing. These are just the most obvious ways to modify them that I could think of, but there are plenty others. They could concievably become walking talking Swiss Army knives with several Feat expendatures. |

Multidexterity would function as ambidex for any number of off-hands, so you could just put in a sentence along the lines of "these hands count as off-hands; the penalties associated with off-hands may be negated through the Multidexterity feat." |

I would, instead of having one feat per wing, simply say that you need to spend two feats to get flight. Call one feat "Lesser Restored Flight" and give them wings back and a once-per-day ability to fly with poor maneuverability or maybe average. Then give another feat called "Quadrone Flight" that gives Fly speed 30. And about your "versatile appendages," I didn't think that Rogue Modrons had vestigal wings- I thought that either the quadrone extra arms or the wings were lost and all Rogue Modrons had simply two arms. Instead of transforming vestigal wings, I think that they should just regain the limbs that they lost. They're still made of thought, so it wouldn't be too ridiculous to simply generate the limbs that they had previously. Oh, and be sure to specify that you can't have both four arms and working wings. We don't want any octopus quadrones. |
