It solves alot of problems concerning bard casting before the age of mortals and during the Age of Despair. I have enough trouble convincing people bards are worthwhile, not mention convincing those same people to use bards without magic! A couple of people on Dragonlance.com have tried to help solve the problem but Unearthed Arcana in my opinion has a more effective solution. |

I was going to allow bards to be specialist priests of Gilean, Branchala and Hiddukel. Perhaps I might use the Prestigious Bard. Because the fellas in the Palanthian Library hardly seem chaotic, especially Betrem. |

I see those aesthetics as experts, not bards. Some might be bardic sages (with a nongood/nonevil restriction instead of a nonlawful/nonchaotic one). |

I would like some of it playtested, as I never have gotten the chance to(although soon one of the PCs in my group will be taking the Bard of High Sorcery class). I want to see if they're balanced. |
