#2 Nived Mar 23, 2004 0:13:55	Yes and Yes. Vampires do indeed infest urban centers on Krynn. Like most undead on Krynn they are beholden to Chemosh. Umber Hulks likewise exist, though the only ones that ever deal with them are probably the Dwarves of Thorbardin and possibly the Gnomes of Mt. Nevermind though I feel sorry for any Umber Hulk that's captured for observation by the Gnomes.

Ladies and gentlemen, a big round of applause for Vampire Kryl, straight from the Tales of the Lance boxed set. DH: Vampire Kryl... Kryl: Please, call me Kryl. DH: Okay then, Kryl. Please, tell us about yourself. Kryl: My name is Vampire Kryl, I'm 80 years old... DH: You don't look it. Kryl: Oh, stop you. Flattery will get you everywhere. Anyway, much of my past is shrouded in mystery, a front I naturally like to maintain. DH: Are you married? Kryl: No, but I was once madly in love with a woman. Alas, she never returned my affections. DH: What did you do? Kryl: Oh, I turned her into a vampire, of course! That way, we could be together for eternity. Alas, the silly woman thwarted my schemes by giving herself up to the first vampire hunter she could find. I think the chap's name was Van Helsing. DH: I bet you were bitter. Kryl: The designers would like you to think that. They put out some propaganda on my character card about me being a "bitter destructive beast". Quite the contrary, I'm quite the gentleman. DH: Indeed. Any hobbies? Kryl: Scrapbooking. DH: Scrapbooking? Kryl: Yes. I like to make albums with layouts of all the people whose blood I have drank. I'm on my third album now. I also enjoy badminton. DH: Right...so, what is your take on vampires in Krynn? Kryl: Oh, vampires do so exist on Krynn! There's some silly propaganda that says we don't, but we are indeed here. DH: Propaganda? By the designers? Kryl: No, by the lycanthropes. DH: Lycanthropes? But they don't exist on Krynn! Kryl: Of course not. They're not union. DH: Uh-huh. Kryl: Mind if I have a drink? DH: No, go right ahe...ack! Kryl: *slurp slurp* DH: That hurts! Kryl: *slurpety slurp* DH: Join...join us next time, as Cam Banks goes into the wild...ouch...where he will track down the rare umber hulk. Feeling light headed... *falls over* Kryl: Heh heh heh! Don't worry, kiddies, he'll be back.
#4 Nived Mar 23, 2004 0:44:12	Dangit man, that nearly made me shoot water out my nose. As it is I'm not sure whether I was choking or laughing... I do hope this becomes an ongoing thing btw.
