#1dragontoothMar 28, 2004 13:05:24 | The rules on Novel post I'm not to sure of. But I figure I would start this thread so maybe I could get some answers. Can you ask if there will be another book continuing the story line of a particular character. example when Doom Brigade came out nobody knew they was going to continue with Draconic Measures. But both books are single books with the same storyline of characters. Its not a series(well it is and isn't lol). |
#2wolffenjugend_dupMar 28, 2004 13:13:35 | I think it was Margaret Weis who said there would be no further stories in the "series." |
#3dragontoothMar 28, 2004 13:25:38 | I was using "Doom Brigade" as an example. thats not the novel I really want to know about. I'll ask as soon as i find out its legal to ask such a question. But thank you for replying. |

Trampas posted a notice (the very first subject listed on the forum) with links on where you can discuss novels. The quick version is to head over to www.dragonlance.com and visit the Novel forums there. Many authors frequent those forums! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |

#6DragonhelmMar 28, 2004 18:55:33 | Originally posted by Baron the Curse Basically, WotC has ceased discussion of novels on all their forums. The DL novel forums were the model forums, but it seems that problems on other novel forums has led to a total shut-down on all novel forums. It's like going to visit someone's house. While we're at their house, we follow the rules there (i.e. no smoking inside, use a coaster, etc.). Such is the case here. We are all guests on WotC's boards and as such, we must follow WotC's rules. |
#7brimstoneMar 29, 2004 16:19:53 | Yes...the first rule of WotC is...you don't talk about WotC. The second rule of WotC is...you don't talk about WotC. |

#9zombiegleemaxMar 29, 2004 17:38:00 | There is certainly some irony in that you can discuss games from the publisher of Dragonlance novels, and you can discuss novels with those who produce Dragonlance games. We live in a topsy-turvy world! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
#10jonesyMar 30, 2004 6:06:04 | Actually you can discuss novels here, if the thread: a) is about a subject that is in both gaming material and novels and the topic of the thread makes it clear. b) is about an iconic Dragonlance character(s) like them thar Majere twins, yar. c) is about a gaming topic, and the discussion directly relates to something in the novels. Only pure novel threads are a no-no. |
