#1zombiegleemaxMar 31, 2004 22:34:27 | Unfortunatly, I haven't had a gaming group for good ole PnP since the early high school days. Playing muds and NWN just isn't the same, and I've had a fair bit of nostalgia for the good fun of Dark Sun (haha ha... 3 hours straight of looking at old posts is apparently what it takes to think my own rhyming is funny :D ) Sooooo, do any of you run campaigns online? Or, anyone in the St. Louis area that wouldn't mind a newbie crashing every now and then? (Moving down there mid-May) |
#2zombiegleemaxMar 31, 2004 22:38:45 | Sooooo, do any of you run campaigns online? I wanted to, but never found a method of doing it that I liked (I won't fo play by post, though some of them are nice reading). As far as 'dropping by', I've got an open invitation for anyone in the NE Ohio area. Granted, that may be a bit of a comute for you ;) |

I know there are a few free voicechat softwares out there (Have Ventrilo right now, use to run Roger Wilco) and they work pretty well. |

I was hoping to get a Jabber server up that might have voice chat possibilities on my Server, I dunno if that's possible tho. |
#7zombiegleemaxApr 02, 2004 0:44:35 | Maybe its just my vastly supior mind that has a difficult time wrapping itself around such base and simple concepts, but I couldn't get OpenRPG to work out quite right. Tinkered for a few weeks with it, but to no avial. KloogeWerks seemed a little better, but I wouldn't want to ask a bunch of people to go shelling out cash for playing D&D unless they wanted to. |
#8zombiegleemaxApr 04, 2004 4:41:47 | So, is anyone actually interested in running an online DS game then? I'm rather DMed out right now with 2 groups running, and its been years since I sat at the proverbial 'other end of the table'. |
