Settlements of the Rhul-thaun

Apr 03, 2004 22:12:24 I've been working on maps and some other material for the Rhul-thaun. Well actually I've been reworking them from all the old campaigns I used to run from Windriders.

Does anyone have more information on Sol-fahn? There's all of one sentence I've been able to find in Windriders...

"Climbers are few, though there are many of them in Sol-fehn at the top of the falls."

One of my old girlfriends (a linguist) took a look at the language and noticed similaritieswith some real world languages and worked out a great number of words beyond what was in the sourcebook. Been looking around for that as well. I had it posted a couple years ago but gone now. On the off chance that anyone has it could you let me know? (longshot I know)

-- edit I can alo swear I saw a poster with a side view of the jagged cliffs showing the relative heighs of the various settlements. Is this a poster I've misplaced or did I dream this up?

Apr 03, 2004 23:51:32 I have the book and it did have the poster. Alas, I lost it. The only way to get it (I think) is to order the book. Maybe the legal PDF version of the book has the poster as well.

I can get you info on Sol-fehn, but I'm tired, have a headache, and need to find the book again, so tomorrow.

Apr 04, 2004 8:32:49 Bah, found more info on Sol-fahn, there's another paragraph deeper in the Thamasku notes I musta missed a dozen times. Will try the PDF later today if I can't find the poster. Least I know I wasn't dreaming I saw it now hehe.

Is there somebody else working on this BTW? Don't want to step on any toes out there. Was just going through some boxes and found my binder from my Windrider campagins and figured I'd put them up for everyone to use.

If I get this right, your doing some sort of 3.5 revision and expanding on some particular site of interest. I'm actually doing something close to what your doing but by actualy writing a novel(non-official) out of all my notes taken here and there. I would be curious to see how you persive Sol-fehn and Thamasku map speaking.

Apr 04, 2004 14:27:23 I'll email you what I have on them. I started with the smaller villages and am working my way figuring by the time I get to the capital. But I've got all my campaign notes on them. I'll type them up and send them your way. Once the wife gives me some time anyway... to much time at the PC recently for her.
