#1incenjucarApr 08, 2004 2:14:01 | Finally got ahold of some yummy Planescape PDFs, including the third and final monstrous compendium... and, aside from feeling like little anime stars are going to pop out of my eye sockets... I've become deeply saddened at how few of these creatures have been published (Actually, many of them were even in the very first 3e MM, which I find amusing). As such, I was wondering on the local experiences in using, or converting, the following: Bzastra Fire bats (A werefirebat just sounds like a truly wicked situation) Phirblas The Primal Rovkuva (Variety without major stat alterations. Yummy.) Shad (For some reason, I want one as a pet. Or as a garden gnome.) Of course, thoughts on any of the things in that book, especially elemental creatures, is welcome. Also, there's something very amusing about xill having hooves shaped like boots. ... Suffice to say, I'm really really glad I got this PDF, and now hate having missed out on the book a thousand fold more. Heh. |

#4Shemeska_the_MarauderApr 09, 2004 17:36:38 | I've used Primals (currently using them alot in my campaign), and I've just given them powers along the lines of the PS MC III granted powers according to their rank within that sect. They're less creature than members of a sect. I have most of mine as humans, genasi, half-elementals w/ levels of transmuter. So far I've had two loremasters of the sect featured, one was a half clay-golem transmuter/earth elemental savant. The other was a half water-elemental cleric/transmuter (I'd post more, but my players read these boards) |
