#2zombiegleemaxApr 12, 2004 13:11:48 | sweet deal.....cant wait....my tax return comes in right around then...If I play my cards right I might just get to go into a gaming store and purchase it rather than having to special order it...that would be sweet! |
#3brimstoneApr 12, 2004 13:32:06 | Sweet Mother Mary! That is good news. So...the "April 26"...is that when they're shipped from the warehouses...or that's the date they should be on the shelves in our local stores? Speaking of which...did you pick up any new big stores, after that last convention, for the BoK? Like Barnes and Noble or B. Dalton or Waldenbooks or Borders or something like those? I only ask because my local gaming store is terrible at getting in Sov. Press books...it was two months before I could get my hands on the DLDMS and I'm still waiting for Kingdoms of the Sword and Stars and Mauraders of the Wolf. I think I've given up hope of them ever picking them up. |
#4DragonhelmApr 12, 2004 13:36:46 | Originally posted by Brimstone My understanding is that is when the book should be on shelves. |
#5zombiegleemaxApr 12, 2004 14:24:01 | I would not write that in stone if I were you. ~~~ |
#6cam_banksApr 12, 2004 14:47:31 | Originally posted by LordofIllusions That's the real, actual, for-real street release date. Stores may or may not have it by then, as is often the case with new releases. Cheers, Cam |

#8zombiegleemaxApr 12, 2004 15:10:55 | Originally posted by Brimstone You should be able to find our Dragonlance products in larger Borders, Waldenbooks, and Barnes & Nobles bookstores. If a bookstore doesn't have it in stock, they should be able to order it through their system. The book should be on hobby game store shelves within a week of the release date, and in bookstores within two weeks. Those Sovereign Stone titles are also available in both hobby and book trade through every major distributor, so your store can order it for you. If you have any problems, call our offices and we'll help you out! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
#9brimstoneApr 12, 2004 15:35:50 | Originally posted by jechambers Thanks for the info, Jamie! And as for the SS stuff...I may just do that. I'm getting sick of being told, "We'll get it next week." Because it's become obvious to me that they're just not ordering it...ever. |
#10baron_the_curseApr 12, 2004 15:40:16 | What about if the title is order through MargaretWeis.com will it be at hour mail boxes on the April 26th or will that be the shipping date? |
#11zombiegleemaxApr 12, 2004 19:30:53 | Two weeks from today? Hot damn. |
#12NivedApr 12, 2004 19:32:45 | Sovereign is so thoughtfull putting it out the day after my birthday when I'll have money. And an annual birthday discount at my local hobby shop. |

#16zombiegleemaxApr 13, 2004 7:50:45 | Originally posted by High Sorcerer Overseas is a little bit trickier to predict on timing. Countries that accept USPS Global Priority Mail usually have it within 10 days of shipping. Others are a bit harder. E-mail sales@margaretweis.com if you have any questions about an order. Thanks! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
#17zombiegleemaxApr 19, 2004 15:41:42 | sounds great, I only hope that the KOD comes out soon as well!! |
#18zombiegleemaxApr 20, 2004 16:04:20 | Are stats for Gellidus to be included in the Bestiary? |
#19zombiegleemaxApr 20, 2004 16:29:27 | Will this Dragonlance product be released on time? |
#20zombiegleemaxApr 20, 2004 16:34:13 | Probably not. ~~~ |
#21brimstoneApr 20, 2004 16:46:47 | Originally posted by LordofIllusions Don't listen to him Amaron...we've got top men working on getting that stick out for him... Anyway...give or take a couple days (I'm assuming, depending on in-transit time, local stores getting it right away from warehouses) this is the date it will be in the warehouses. From what I understand, I'm expecting mine on or before the end of the month. Never fear...it's on its way. :D |
