Ylari community in Ierendi

The Ierendi Gaz states that the Eternal Truth has some followers in Ierendi. I always liked that idea - since it seems fitting for an extra-liberal culture to have some of its people searching for more rigorous spiritual options.
However, I am currently reading the Ylaruam Gaz - and I thought of another way to explain the phenomena:

It is said that Al-Kalim has been in Undersea in his quest for immortality - and that some of his most observant followers try to walk in his footsteps.
So Undersea should be a place for Ylari pilgrimage - and Ierendi should be one of the stations on the way.

Have any of you seen this written somewhere?

I have not seen anything on this, official or otherwise. It certainly does make sense, though. A very good idea.

One more thought about the matter:

The place at the Ierendi coastline where Al-Kalim descended into the sea should be a holy place for the Ylari. Some shrine or something. There should be some political-cultural conflict between Ierendi and Ylaruam regarding the way the easy-minded Ierendians treat that holy place. The Ylari might see it as blasphemy, and quite dislike the fact that one of their most holy spots has fallen into such unholy hands. This coyld be a cause for a whole holy war.

On the other hand, the whole matter can be treated in quite a comic way: Highly religious Ylari make pilgrimage to the sacred shrine, only to meet some Ierendi folk who don't give a damn about anything.

Yes! Even more evidence that Ierendi can support a tourism-based economy! After all, Jerusalem, Mecca, and Medina have done so for centuries. I'm not sure that it would necessarily be "one of their most holy spots," but sacred, significant, and worthy of a pilgrimage, sure. A very good idea!
