I needed a character who could impart information to the group that no one else could possibly know. (It had to do with people whose identities and memories were destroyed during the Chaos War.) It was a short and mysterious encounter, and I like to think it worked--even though my group pretty much caught on right away. Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |

I used him as a voice of destiny (at least to the perceptions of the characters) to get the part moving. Now granted, he is no longer a god, but he is still the same "person" that liked to manipulate circumstances to his liking, he just no longer wishes people to sing his praises any longer. He set a few things in motion for the party to set right a few things that needed fixing, without giving any real help in the matter, after all, they wouldn't learn anything if he just held their hand. Half of the party would strangle him, I think, if they could get their hands on him. Correlanthias |
