#3NivedMay 03, 2004 15:55:37 | If I had the cash I'd go for the Draconomicon in a second (but I currently don't) flipping through it at the Boarders' Cafe I've seen a lot of stuff in there I like (Wyrmling familiars being on the top of the list). Seems to me if you switch every referance to Bahamut and Tiamat to Paladine and Takhisis then everything kosher. Of course I haven't had a chance to read it in depth. |
#4sweetmeatsMay 03, 2004 19:56:31 | Its given me plenty of new ideas but I haven't used much from it as yet. I've given the clinging breath feat to the main villain's Shadow Dragon companion/mount (clinging negative energy... anyone say ouch!). One player has taken a level in the Dragonslayer PrC, and I've thrown an Abyssal Drake at the party (that was a fun encounter) but not used anything else. A definate pick up whether you play DL or not. |
#5zombiegleemaxMay 03, 2004 20:07:10 | I have been flipping through the Draconomicon for two weeks (give or take a few days) since I bought it and really I think that it is absolutely perfect for DL. I actually went as far as to change the dragon appearances in DL back to the MM ones so that I can get more use out of it. I plan on running a very dragon centric campaign, and the dragons having this uniform appearance really works for me. |
