#1xanxost_the_slaadi_dupMay 07, 2004 0:06:30 | Hello mortals! Xanxost has recently been running its own Planescape game, one taking place five years after the very famous Faction War. As most of the Planescape savvy bashers around will be aware, at the end of it, the Lady made a proclamation that factions will no longer be tolerated. That effectively ended the hold the factions had over Sigil. A Sigil without the factions is quite interesting to be sure, but somewhere Xanxost has heard that the Faction War was not meant to be the end of it. Faction War was supposed to be the beginning of a new series of adventures that culminated in the factions returning. Is this true? Xanost does not know, but Xanxost does like the idea. So, Planescape savvy bashers, what do you think would make such an event possible? Xanxost has speculated that the Faction War was the Lady's way of "pruning" some undesirables, and She may already be aware that She will allow the factions to return to power. What sort of event or series of events would lead to such an outcome? Would Her limit on the number of factions still apply? Will Zadara the Titan finally break down and marry Estevan (for the money of course)? Tune in next time to find out! |

Of you course you'd have to be a ballsy sod to try and keep on with a faction that might be tolerated or might get you flayed. |

At the moment I am in the process of writing 4 adventures that are set in post-FW Planescape. The first two deal with the factions in the Outer planes and the last deals with the possible return of the Factions to Sigil. Hopefully I'll have written them up / have them in a good state so that I can run them at GenCon Indy this year. I'm off to a stag party but as soon as I get back and get sober - I'll start writing. If the adventures are any good / well received then I'll post them online after August. Simmo |
