#1zombiegleemaxMay 07, 2004 1:09:47 | I'm reading WoS, and it's inspiring me to go ahead and get the DL material; only problem is, I haven't gamed in over two years. I don't know anyone now that even plays, as all of my friends are more primarily college-, chicks-, and basketball-oriented, respectively. :D Any advice on how to get a good group together? Should I look for DL readers foremost? DnDers? Newbs entirely? I'd rather be a player, to be honest, but I'll sacrafice for the sake of it all. In addition, I hope this isn't entirely in the wrong area...I figured that since I specifically want to start a DL campaign, it wouldn't be. Nevertheless, I won't be offended if I get deleted. ;) |

They usually have boards advertising groups looking for players and vice versa. They also sometimes have roleplaying rooms where groups gather to play, an opportunity for you to see whether you want to join a particular group. |

Believe it or not, I found a player for our campaign through the boards that lives less that 1/4 mile from me. Will post link to correct board in a little bit. RPG Gamer's Classified |

Is there a website where I might be able to download and print off a very concise summary of world events in Krynn? Even if it's just an out-of-character book summary type deal? |
