#2zombiegleemaxMay 11, 2004 5:12:39 | Hmmm, strange that svgames.com does not have it. Anyway, here are the links for sales on ebay.com and amazon.com on at the moment: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&sokeywordredirect=1&from=R8&ht=1&satitle=%22on+hallowed+ground%22 and http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/0786904305/all/ref=dp_pb_a/104-0230307-8472755 Thanks, Simmo |
#3bonemageMay 11, 2004 13:08:59 | I would go with Ebay over the Amazon links every auction that I can remember seeing for On Hallowed Ground was under what those Amazon dealers are charging. |
#4zombiegleemaxMay 14, 2004 2:50:51 | I sold On Hallowed Ground a couple of weeks ago on eBay and the winning bid was like $41. |
#5uratohMay 15, 2004 21:40:32 | FYI there's one on e-bay ending in 12 minutes, top bid ATM is $10.75ish. american seller. |
#6zombiegleemaxMay 18, 2004 16:47:23 | I have a copy on EBay for £25 (c. $37.50). |
#7wyvern76May 20, 2004 1:40:00 | Thanks for your responses, but I was *really* hoping someone could point me to a place *besides* eBay. I have this vague memory that I've seen another site besides SVGames that sells RPG books in e-format, but I can't think where it is. Normally I love eBay, but since I'm in Hong Kong at the moment, shipping from the U.S. is rather expensive. (Not to mention the fact that some sellers won't even ship overseas.) In this case, I *did* end up bidding on the auction that simmo linked to (I have relatives in the States that I could have it mailed to, though it could be anywhere from a couple of months to a year before I'd have the chance to pick it up from them), but I didn't win it. I'll continue checking up on eBay but I really don't want to pay more than about $15, including shipping, because: 1) I'm a cheap so-and-so who doesn't like to pay more than two-thirds of the retail price for anything if I can avoid it. 2) I'm "underemployed" at the moment, and there *are* other things I'd like to be able to afford, you know. 3) I've never actually read On Hallowed Ground, so I'm not even sure how much I really want it. In any case, I'd much rather pay $5 for a PDF than $40 for a book. Wyvern |

#10zombiegleemaxMay 20, 2004 16:08:33 | Truth be told, it's not the most useful of books. |
#11kuje31May 22, 2004 1:12:18 | Originally posted by Drinnik Shoehorn Really? You think so? It's one of the Planescape books I get the most use out of....... And so it isn't on rpgnow.com either.... Guess Jim Ward couldn't find any one to give up thier copy so he could cut it apart and scan it..... |
