I hadn't seen anyone else comment on this PrC, so I'd like to see what everyone thinks. I personally don't see a connection to Tharizdun here. Entropy, Madness, and Destruction are the bread and butter of Tharizdun. this Prestige class seems better suited to Incabulous the god of pestilence and disease.

Heres the link.

I never read the actual powers but if you follow the cults mind set then attaching one self partially to Oerth but serving Tharizdun is of upmost importance. So the druid part of it is fine, I just think they should of made a line of Dark Druids of Tharizdun in order to bring the whole thing to fruitation.

In stead of wind, water, fire, and earth being the elements. In stead tharizdun has the elements of Entropy, Malice, Destruction, and Madness. I would look for powers or spells which utilize these elements. So any spell that shatters, explodes, withers, enflames, etc. Would belong to the Destruction element. Madness would be the easiest one spell which affect the mind in a chaotic mannerso a spell similar to Tasha's Uncontrollable Hideous laughter.

Without the prestige class powers it's actually a pretty decent article.

Hey, all.

Keep in mind that the Cultist of Tharizdun as described at WotC's Random Encounters is chiefly a Druid, by class. And he only has three levels of the Blighter PrC. So we don't know all of the details of the PrC, yet. I don't think there are enough details to say whether or not the Blighter is a good fit for a Tharizdun cultist. I, personally, like the culitist as described in Random Encounters.

If you like that idea, you may want to check out Rob Kuntz's Dark Druids from Troll Lord Games, Argon.

They sound like some fun ideas ;)

Actually, Blighter is a PrC described in Masters of the Wild. But I suppose we'll get an updated (v3.5) version in Complete Divine this month...
