May 12, 2004 0:17:06 I have a quick question about the racial traits, exemple:

Silvanesti have all the elven racial traits listed in the PHB except as follows:

Then we have the changes to stats the elvensight and the racial bonus to skills

my question is do elves from dragonlance gain new abilities or the skill bonuses replace's the bonus to search spot and listen that normal elves have?

and what about the ability to make a search check if within 5 ft of a secret door?

P.S same questions goes for all the other PHB races.

That's what he said.

The answer is, yes, they get all the usual elven bonuses to skills, etc. except where that's explicitly changed. Low-light is enhanced to low-light plus darkvision 30 ft. for instance. But, the Silvanesti bonus to Spellcraft and Knowledge (arcana) is in addition to the PHB elven bonuses.
