#7burningspearMay 18, 2004 10:22:19 | Nyghtcrawler r u finished with the mystic?, and where can i find it if u do?. |
#8zerpentorMay 18, 2004 11:28:37 | here's some ideas (dont like them all myself) Martial Artist Psionic monk Tribal Warrior Hermit Monk (why does it need a name change anyway?) Fist of Zerpentor (worth a try) Mystic just reminds me of an old man with blue robes, a book in his hand and a strange desire to lecture people in the ways of life. =) |

#11Shei-NadMay 18, 2004 18:39:06 | Actually, the 2e Athasian character kit which was essentially the athasian monk was Sensei. However, there are monk orders on athas, so monks still fit, IMO. |
#12nytcrawlrMay 18, 2004 18:48:07 | Originally posted by Shei-Nad I plan on changing the monk to fit Athas more as well. For those of us using more of a D20 set of rules. |
#13Shei-NadMay 18, 2004 19:59:42 | looking forward to seeing your take on it and see if it resembles mine... |
#14nytcrawlrMay 18, 2004 20:15:22 | I will give you a slight sneak peek of the mystic. It's going to resemble Soulknife slightly. |

#17nytcrawlrMay 19, 2004 15:28:01 | Wow, no comments so far? I'm surprised, it must be perfect! :D |
#18fallen_akriel_dupMay 21, 2004 16:27:07 | I like it, a good feel of monk, athas and psionic. Very athasian and useful. Just rename it Sensei (like in the The Will and The Way for psionic martial artist ) and it will be perfect :P Keep up the good work. Only seeking a good Trader prestige or core class one day. |
#19xlorepdarkhelm_dupMay 21, 2004 16:29:25 | Originally posted by fallen_akriel Have you looked at the ones on Grummore's site? |
#20fallen_akriel_dupMay 21, 2004 16:40:03 | Well yeah but i'm kinda "cold" for the Special Abilities it have. It's a good start, but it is drown in rules and it give too much candies. I search for one who is more simple and light. Thank you Xlorep, as always. |

#22fallen_akriel_dupMay 21, 2004 23:51:06 | oops :P |
#23nytcrawlrMay 22, 2004 10:20:16 | Eh, wrong thread. :P |
#24nytcrawlrJun 03, 2004 17:55:35 | Ok, going to do some changes to the Mystic, this is why: Too close to the monk, going to change the monk to a psi-monk variant for Athas and call it good, flavor and all aside it should be fine otherwise, but since I'm running more of a D20 Dark Sun and others are wanting to see it, then I will create a psi-variant. The Mystic, flavor and all will become more of a Villichi-like PrC later to be released in my Villichi project once I get more out of my current mental state and actually feel like working on it more. Expect to see Psi-Monk up sometime tonight. |
