#1nytcrawlrMay 19, 2004 20:03:56 | Ok, it's finally here! Actually, had it for a good week or two before I finally got my act together and got it up. Do note that athas.org has a copy as well and will eventually post to their site, I assume this will happen once the new layout is up. http://crimsonsun.org/downloads/ Be sure to do a right click and save as, opening up the link causes issues for some reason. Will look into that down the road. Enjoy. Will get the emails up in an article format once I get time. That should hold you till then. |

#3dawnstealerMay 20, 2004 9:41:53 | Very interesting. Now if only we could get those notes from Secrets of the Dead Lands.... |

#6dawnstealerMay 20, 2004 16:50:05 | It makes sense, though. I'd say the bulk of us are GMs and specifically GMs that are interested in the creation of the world as a whole (or snarking other people's ideas). Thus, when TSR crumbled and DS crumbled with it, there were a lot of questions left unanswered. ...Or so we thought. It now turns out that there were loads of notes and thoughts left over from the original creator about where they wanted to take the world, where it had been, and generally all those little questions all us GMs have been wondering about. Do I want to see the original notes? Hell, yeah. Don't get me wrong, Athas.org does amazing work (or I wouldn't be pumping out drawings for you guys), but I'd still like to see the notes and draw my own conclusions. Of course, he who holds the notes, controls the past. Give up the glasses, Piggy, or I'll right bash you with this here rock... |

The weird thing about all the Lynn Abbey stuff is I haven't even read it all yet, and was hooked by just the first few pages. Also, it wasn't very hard to get it, just took a lot of time and patience to get it posted for all us DS freaks to enjoy. |
