I looked at her domains, and was sort of surprised to see she grants access to the Death domain (well, not really surprised, since there's no Repose domain in the PH, and she is one of the core deities). Her description in the LGG says she picked up her death portfolio when her Suel followers prayed her to check whether the souls of their dead comrades reached safely their final destination. Escorting the souls to their final destinations doesn't particularly scream undead. She's also a goddess of beauty, and - apart from some vampires and ghosts - undead could not, in all honesty, be called pretty All that combined, along with the fact that she's primary LN (with LE tendencies), I'd say Repose domain suits her a lot more that the Death domain she was given in the PH. So, what do the people more versed in the Greyhawk lore think about it? |

Witness: in her entry from the From the Ashes boxet set, it is stated that "She is a protector of the dead, and her priests are only rarely allowed to command undead creatures, having to commune with Wee Jas to see if this is acceptable to her". Clearly, the Repose domain would work better for a deity concerned primarily with funeral rites. She inclines toward evil only through her preoccupation with power. |
