Who would like to see a compilation of the adventures that have been retired from the Living Greyhawk campaign like TSR used to do with the old tournament modules and stuff?

Heck, I would vote for that (and even pay for it)

Absolutely. I'd pay a fee to download them.

I've already purchased some old modules as downloads to keep track for my personal Greyhawk gazeteer. It's painless and relatively cheap.

Since we can't play, the only way us Brits can keep track of what is going on in western Oerik is to look at the mods and there are too many worldwide to download individually.

An annual compilation would be invaluable. My campaign is currently mired in 587 CY, so it doesn't matter to me if the compliations are brought out 3 years after 'real time'.

This idea gets a big thumbs up from me.

I think it would be great. I've seen this discussed before, though, and as I understand it, RPGA/WotC don't own all the necessary rights to distribute the LG scenarios beyond the LG campaign. However, I think if there were enough interest shown that WotC got the idea that they might be able to make money on it, they might buy the necessary rights to make it possible. Maybe somebody involved with LG will chime in to say whether that's possible....

They should certainly reword their CURRENT submission guidelines so that they can..., or set a flat, reasonable fee so that writers feel like they get a win out of such a possibility.

I'd certainly love to see such a compilation put together...

I like that idea. I support the idea of making all of those adventures public in some manner - at least retired scenarios should be available in some way to RPGA members.

Some of them are, after all, shaping the Flanaess as we speak.

Yes I only made the same such suggestion more than several months ago. I was told their were no current plans to release any such scenarios in the future. I thought it was a great way to continue supporting Living Greyhawk community and those of us who still dwell with the original Greyhawk campaign.

This is also a great way to introduce new players and fresh ideas to those individuals who often avoid anything written about the LG campaign. I think it's a great way to unite both. Besides everyone is still free too not use it but I think alot of the scenarios would make for good adventures to be explored by non LG players.

Just my two cents!

Ah, yes. Ye olde LG compilation thread. Always a perennial favorite.

Hi all-
Man, I don't know for how long or how many times I've seen this same thread. No matter it be WotC's GH mailing list, GT, Greychat, CanonForums, or someplace else.
Trade the damn things. Trade them. Trade them. You give XXX a couple of the ones that you have, they'll give you the couple that they have. Now you go to YYY and offer the bigger collection you have for their smaller collection. Now you both have an equal size. So forth. Build yourself a nice collection.

But if i give you nearly all the living greyhawk scenarii do you need authorisation/licence to put them on free download on Canonfire for example?

yes, authorization would be required unless Canonfire felt like being sued.

Hi all-
First, I am the Downloads Editor for CanonFire. However, not all of my views are the same as the other editors of CF. And furthermore, my views are not those nor are they necessily supported by CF.
So, although I advocate trading of LGG modules, it doesn't mean that CanonFire officially does. In fact, I know that CanonFire officially doesn't support the trading of LGG modules. As such, neither CanonFire nor GreyhawkOnline host LGG modules.

So yes, I think that the LGG modules should be traded, but CF & GHO cannot host them. So if you're looking for others with the files, I suggest you ask around.
