Seeing as how both the House of Igorov and the House of Crownguard has been run by undead Princes for centuries does anyone have any great ideas for other protective measures they might have developed against the common anti-undead weapons and tactics? I am not asking for complete descriptions of new spells or magical items, outlines of ideas are fine if you have any! :-) Jesper |

It would affect vampires, obviously, and it could also work like garlic spray against the living. |

Ofcourse, I wasn't expecting much from "the creator of the Mummy", but I much preferred his earlier movies to this one. Still, it had a few enjoyable scenes. Also, alot of devices for killing Vampires, and at least one Vampire who wouldn't be defeated by using the regular tricks (hence its connection to this topic). I see no reason why a Wizard Vampire couldn't create a Protection from Normal Stakes, spell, similar to Protection from Normal Missiles. He could also forge this spell into a ring and wear it all the time. Thus, the player's would have to track down a magical stake, and there aren't too many of those around, especially in the Boldavia area. Another spell, similar to resist fear might be used to overcome Turning. A variant of Mirror Image might give the Vampire a reflection in the mirror. He will still have to deal with garlic and running water, but Im sure a clever Vamp could find a way to get around those ones aswell. Hmmm, such a clever Vamp should be careful or some strange gypsies might just come around and give him a soul.... ;) HÃ¥vard |
