Does anyone know where I can get copies of the old DragonLance comic books ? I really do not like the look of Legend of Huma and prefer the older comics.

eBay is your best bet at finding the old comics.

Ebay has no protection for buyers that are not spending a slew of cash. I have been screwed over by Ebay multiple times.

Then your best bet is to find a comic shop that still has them in stock.

Don't know who you were buying from or what were buying, but I have never had any problem buying on ebay.

I just looked for vendors that have really good ratings and have always been satisfied.

Just my 2 cp (or in DL my 2 gp).

Good for you.

This matters not if a person is going to rob you they are going to rob you regardless of whether they have done it before or not.

Ebay has no protection for buyers that are not spending gobs of cash. Therefore I do not buy anything on Ebay.

You know, it really comes down to the fact that regardless of where you buy online, you have the chance of getting ripped off or losing you rmoney.

It's up to you to take the necessary steps to protect yourself. Which can be done rather painlessly.

I've been ripped off in the past myself when buying comics on eBay, among other things, but I learned from it.

No doubt which is why I do not buy products online.

The only way you can protect yourself on Ebay is by purchasing protection which is not worth it since it costs more than the very item that you are buying. The reason why most people go to Ebay is to get deals. If I could get the product for the same price at the store I would not bother with Ebay.

But being that Ebay has no real protection for those that are not spending gobs of cash(Although they should. They simply send you an e-mail saying they are dealing with it but let the seller continue to rob people.) I would rather go to the store and get my product as soon as I pay for it. Which I have done and find works for me.

I've been ripped off in the past myself when buying comics on eBay, among other things, but I learned from it.

So have I, which is why I do not shop on Ebay anymore.

Too bad you're wrong about that.
But, you're probably not interested anyways.

I purchase tons of stuff of the of net and use e-bay a lot as well for online purchases and I have never had a problem. Including items on ebay that were only $10.

Using a credit card online does provide some protection.

I am amazed how some people are still "afraid" to use the net for purchases. Not anything to do with DL or D&D, but I have bought aquarium filters (brand new mind you) for about $200 when the local pet stores wanted $500+ for the exact same item.

well, i would look around at your local comic shops. it took me a while, but i found one that had a copy of the first issue featuring taladas. you are right, the adnd dragonlance comics rock. but anyway, don't expect to find a gold mine of comis. i only found three (and i was lucky), but could only afford the "cheap" $15 one, which wasn't the best.
