#2zombiegleemaxJun 04, 2004 19:49:37 | Well, it has maps in it. Less than great ones at that. There is a web enhancement for printing out your own wall map (which I haven't looked at). Overall, I'd consider the maps from the First Dragonlance book better. Web enhancements in general: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/archive.asp?x=dnd/we,3 Wall map specifically: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20031121a Old School book (which I still find occasionally useful: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0880384522/qid=1086402053/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/103-7225338-8663043?v=glance&s=books |
#3zombiegleemaxJun 04, 2004 19:52:11 | Could you point me to the map site, because I can't seem to find it, and which other book had a better map? |
#4talinthasJun 04, 2004 22:21:30 | the best DL map was in Tales of the Lance. |
#5zombiegleemaxJun 04, 2004 22:31:22 | What I think I would have liked, particularly considering the amount of, well..., junk in the book a nice, durable, double sided, poster sized with either the current or War of the Lance continent and pre-Cataclysm on the reverese. |
#6brimstoneJun 07, 2004 9:47:42 | Well...we've been told that there will be a poster map in the War of the Lance book that comes out at GenCon in August. Hopefully it will be of higher quality than those maps in the DLCS. Well...correction. The map quality was high in the DLCS but the detail was not. Here's hoping the detail is higher. :D And not just cities and ruins and the like...even the terain needs to be of higher detail...something on par with the terrain detail in the TotL map. We haven't had terrain detail that high with any of the poster maps that have been released since (5A Boxed Set, 15th Anniversary Dragonlance Classics, and the DLCS). |
