I just got a copy a few days ago. He's probably referring to some of the continuity issues with the history and places that crop up occasionally.

For example, it notes that House Vordon was originally from Kalidnay, and fled shortly before the city's destruction to establish in Tyr. Kalidnay was destroyed a few King's ages prior to the 190th, so that's okay. However, it then goes on to say that Kalek "came to power" in Tyr and iron "was discovered". Somewhat of a continuity problem.

Myself, I think Dune Trader presents decent ideas, but you'll need to work around some of their timeline issues. I wouldn't let any House be older than 5-6 centuries, except House Shom of Nibenay, which is corrupt and decadent, just like an ancient merchant house would be.

Jun 12, 2004 7:38:20 Ok, thanks for the insight.... yea, I dont delve into timelines too much, so Ill be straight. I worry about the Now and put that to work.... But again, I will keep that in mind, and Might study up on it.
