#2zombiegleemaxJun 14, 2004 14:38:30 | Darn right... I had a kender nightstalker NPC help them attack a minotaur ship. Poor minotaurs practically went crazy trying to chase the little twirp around the ship. Of course the kender would catch items that were continuously falling from the party's pockets... Kenders have to be one of the best NPC's u can play... |
#3DragonhelmJun 14, 2004 17:28:02 | I've been considering designing a kender nightstalker based on Shroud, but at the rate I'm going, he may land up being adopted by my Quickfoot family of kender. lol See the thread I started on kender nightstalkers for some ideas. I've both played kender and used them as NPCs, and in both cases, it has proven to be a rewarding experience. Kencyclopedia.com has some great articles on it for fleshing out kender. One thing I would suggest is to find a theme. For example, there's a kender in the DL DM Screen that has a fascination with dragons. The kender nightstalker deals with an undead theme. Find a theme that works for your kender NPC, and go with it. If you're in a time crunch, this is especially useful. |

He is the giving and generous spirit, the person who overcame personal hardship to become a pillar of strength. I can't stand Raistlin. He gave up when he was 6 years old, and was kept weak by his own pettiness and selfishness. Rather than rising above his troubles he simply used his great power like a child would, lashing out at the world around him. Tas is okay, but I've definately had my fill of him. |
