Does anyone use a good system where you have for example : Penalities to all Rolls says 75 to 99% of Total HP = -1 50 to 74% = -2 25 to 49% = -3 1 to 24% = -4 or Lighter penalties 75 to 100% of Total HP = 0 50 to 74% = -1 25 to 49% = -2 1 to 24% = -3 |

Players are larger than life and capable of more than the average guy on the street. If you want more deadly combat go play GURPS. If however you want to wade through a dozen men armed only with a club, armoured only in sandals and a loincloth, and be able to walk away (which is by far and away the better scene cinematically) D&D is the system for you. regards the cute and fluffy DM |
