So, who's your favorite Greyhawk deity and why?

Me, I have to go with the wonderfully deluded Wastri...

I mean, how can you not like a frog-god that thinks humans are it??

BTW: "Why in the nine hells were Lolth and Gruumsh not in the LGG?"

Joramy. I like a G-aligned deity with a temper and the will to show it :D

I like Incabulous the Black Rider. He is every bit as powerful as Nerull or Pelor yet enigmatically isn't that popular. His portfolio covers such a wonderful breadth of horrors like Disease, Nightmares, Droughts...Tharizdun who?

Trithereon!

A good god with a not-so-nice way of dealing with evil or tyranny. I've never been a believer in mercy or forgiveness for those who go out of their way to harm you or others, so this deity is the perfct patron for the strong.

Wee Jas. Before D20 I had an online supplement that described her religion and the powers her worshippers were granted. I know it was cheese but they could cast any spell in the book for mages or priests. Worshipper alignment was pretty fuzzy too, either NG or NE. They weren't allowed to molest the Dead/Undead, however and they were obligated to put them to rest and punish those that animated them.

Anyone that likes to barbeque them pansy elfsies is A-OK in my book. All hail Wastri. Though I still don't understand why he likes them froggies so much, the price of living in a swamp me guesses.

“Great Gods!” expostulated the startled errant. “It is a dwarf being pursued by a pack of giant toads and weirdly hopping men!”

Maybe he thought that by kissing enough frogs one would turn into a princess :D

Allitur, the Flan god of ethics and propriety.

My first Greyhawk character was a cleric of this god, and as such was always preaching to the rest of the party to be fair and noble and kind to everyone. So of course when the group found a talisman in a robber's den bearing the symbol of Nerull, he cautioned them to be rid of it. The group's wizard refused and kept it as part of his treasure, and that very same night it caused the bodies of the slain bandits to reanimate and attack. Wouldn't you know, it was none other than my cleric who got killed by the wight.

The enigmatic and evil Elder Elemental Gods (there are/were at least three... ). The murals and shrines to them in the Giant and Descent modules are an enduring mystery from the "elder days" of AD&D! ^__^

Incabulous is also Grummush in my campaign but I like his portfolio alot. Because most people don't focus on Incabulous as he is a very subtle type god with the power to destroy the world. But Incabulous is necessary as both healers and death itself would have much less work without him.

Being a Dark Sun fan, with the madly genocidal Rajaat, I'd have to go with Wastri.

--even though I think Wastri was originally a bullywug god NB

It just occured to me in the long time I've played GH, I have used a relatively small proportion of its deities to the fullest.

I'd like to use Telchur someday, maybe Raxivort, or even Llerg! Mainstream deities like Pelor, Cuthbert, Pholtus, Nerull and Iuz drown out some other good ones.

Chello!

Why, Hextor, the Six-Armed King, natch!

Ever since 1e, he's been my favorite deity to follow....LE, LN, clerics, fighters, unholy warriors, cavaliers, necromancers...ahhhh, the Dark is good! ;)
