#1zombiegleemaxJun 30, 2004 8:55:50 | With the KoD campaign, I've decided to go ahead and use the "Coinage from Ansalon" as described in the DLCS book. But I'm curious as to how other DM's manage the balance between the treasure table in the DM's and the coinage table. Ex: In the DM's, you can get either copper, silver, gold or platinum. If I were to roll up a random encounter, how should I match the loot in the DM's with what is in DL? DLCS gives us: Copper Gold Silver Iron Steel Platinum I know that the random encounter tables are all setup in the KoD book, but I'm just curious as to how others would manage it for their homemade campaigns. |

#4shnikJun 30, 2004 9:31:20 | Wait, Cam, isn't copper worth as much in DL than in the base books? ie, 100 copper = 1stl/gp? |
#5cam_banksJun 30, 2004 9:46:46 | Originally posted by Shnik Yes, you're right. That always throws me - silver is worth only half as much as core D&D silver but copper is worth the same. So, double silver, change gold into steel, and keep platinum and copper as they are. Cheers, Cam |
