Jul 02, 2004 15:12:27 I was just curious if anyone knows of current online greyhawk roleplaying games. Im not looking for 3d graphics based games but the more traditional MUD's and text based games. I know this makes dice rolling a challenge somtimes but I was just curious. I have very little free time and was wondering if there was something online that i could play to quench my thirst for a little Greyhawk.

Jul 02, 2004 18:11:52 I play a play by post game based in Greyhawk. The city names are familiar and the descriptions are base on the LGG, but other than that Greyhawk isn't really a factor. Its still being run under 3.0 with conversion sometime in the future. Here is a link.

Play by post is very slow, but it doesn't take much time. Log on, read what the other players have posted, Write your action, Log off, 10 minutes a day max. or 20 every other, whatever works for you.

I'm happy there, Play by Chat is the best, but this has some of the feel of being around a table.

Jul 03, 2004 3:42:47 I am currently running a campaign set in Greyhawk on Web RPG. Unfortuneately all of the player slots are currently full. You are free to visit our message board and keep an eye out for openings.

Also, once this cmapaign settles in it is likely I will be opening a 2nd campaign for players to join.

Oh, and even further more. I've recently changed our board with hopes that other interested DM's and players could use it to launch campaigns of their own wether it be using webrpg, openrpg or play by post.

I've JUST made the board change for us and am not sure if the idea will gather any interest or not but please, feel free to check it out.

We play in AOL chatrooms every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday currently. Our group is 5 years old and have always played in the Greyhawk realm. Would love to have another 'hawker as long as you have an AOL account and play regularly.
