#1zombiegleemaxJul 10, 2004 13:32:50 | I just saw some preveiws for 4 new dragonlance books meant for young readers, I have seen stuff like this before, but it was the chronicles split up into 6 novels... These however are totally different, they are seperate, original stories I haven't heard of before... and apparently the first 2 books come out this month... Are any of you going to read these books despite the fact that they are meant for young readers? What difference do you think these products for young readers will have from the mainstream line? Lack of death/fighting, less pages? both? |

A little predictable but then again it's a "young adult" novel. It's kinda like reading the fisrt Harry Potter book: you can tell it's written for kids, but there is a feel of not talking down to it's audience. Don't get me wrong, these books are not as good as HP, but they do make for some good light reading, if you don't mind non-complex storylines. |

#10zombiegleemaxJul 12, 2004 8:07:39 | Well that is peturbing, It is after all their product, that I only found out about after browsing on their website. Heck, they wouldn't even pick up DL gaming again until people like us begged and begged for years, and now I am not allowed to talk about anything BUT dl gaming here. And don't give me that bandwidth crap, the price for DL novels has more than quadrupled over the years, and the gods know they aren't using the money for proper editing...But *shrug* whatever, I have seen more changes in these boards than I can count... Uh, and sorry if I made anyone sad/mad/or diarrhetic... I just got off the nightshift and nothing makes me more happy than sounding off on large faceless corporations.... But hey how about that Key of Destiny? *whistles* pretty big huh? I sure wasn't expecting that... |

#12zombiegleemaxJul 12, 2004 10:34:55 | Are they available at regular bookstores? In what section? |
