#1zombiegleemaxJul 23, 2004 10:50:45 | I'm fairly new to the boards and I noticed many great ideas regarding prestige classes that fit well withing the Dark Sun setting. My question is if there have been any discussion about creating a single document that contains these interesting PrC classes. A sort of "Dark Sun: Prestige Classes" book. |

Fan-created PrCs may see inclusion in there eventually, but you have to post them, or link to a site where they are, if you want them to check them out. Personnaly, I would like to see some of my PrCs into an official release, and would be happy to see one day the monster I created, the Ashen, see release in an official DS Monster Manual or even a "web enhancment" for those. |
#4zombiegleemaxJul 23, 2004 12:23:10 | Thanks for the reference Gab! As for Jon's PrC document, excellent resource. Great job. It would be nice to have an official release with a comprehensive list much like Jon's work. I don't know the nuances in regards to having peoples works reviewed and included in an official release, but it would be something nice to have at some point. |
#5gabJul 23, 2004 13:05:00 | Consider Jon's document "semi-official". Jon's been with athas.org for a while now, and many of us have reviewed and commented on his prestige class document, as have many people here on the boards. |
#6xlorepdarkhelm_dupJul 23, 2004 13:10:46 | It's not a top priority at this point for Athas.org, however, I am certian that such a thing is definitely on the list of things to do. Right now, they are getting the core rules updated to the Expanded Psionics Handbook, getting Terrors of Athas updated, and making sure the releases that they have on Athas.org are probably updated to 3.5e and the Expanded Psionics Handbook as well. There's the Epic Level rules that are being developed so then one of the books that had been planned for, and never released back in the TSR days, "Dregoth Ascending" can be released. There's getting images in the Terrors of Athas and Core for DS3, and the list goes on... But, it woul be silly to release a more or less complete campaign setting for 3.5e, and not eventually include a list of developed PrC's for that setting |

That critter is just great - slit my PCs up a treat. (For those who have yet to inject some ashy goodness into your games, check it out). |
