#1zombiegleemaxJul 28, 2004 15:50:13 | What specials does the Noble class have and at what level? |
#2cam_banksJul 28, 2004 15:54:24 | All of this information and more is available in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting hardcover, and won't breach the copyright policies of the boards in doing so. Cheers, Cam |
#3zombiegleemaxJul 28, 2004 15:54:27 | Originally posted by Dusty Traveler its being coverd in the DLCS |
#4zombiegleemaxJul 28, 2004 16:21:54 | And thus I am forced to wait until I return home before I can find the answers I seek. |
#5zombiegleemaxJul 29, 2004 14:28:40 | Did you ever find the information you were looking for? |
#6wolf72Jul 29, 2004 20:22:34 | is it that different from the DMG's Aristocrat? |
#7zombiegleemaxJul 29, 2004 20:49:43 | Yes the Aristocrat is a NPC class and the Noble is a character class to start with. |
#8iltharanosJul 30, 2004 10:04:29 | Originally posted by Dusty Traveler If you've got the revised Star Wars RPG core book, the Noble within the SWRPG is fairly close to the one in the DLCS. |
#9cam_banksJul 30, 2004 10:09:12 | Originally posted by iltharanos I think he has the DLCS, and just wanted the information while at work/school/wherever. Cheers, Cam |
#10iltharanosJul 30, 2004 10:14:07 | Originally posted by Cam Banks Yeah, I got that. But who's to say he doesn't have a copy of the SWRPG with him at wherever he happens to be? As outrageous as it sounds, he may actually have such rpg books at locations other than his home ... I certainly know a few people that have some of their books at their workplace. |
#11cam_banksJul 30, 2004 10:27:08 | Originally posted by iltharanos Impossible! Nobody mixes gaming with work! Hmm. Scratch that. Cheers, Cam |
#12zombiegleemaxJul 30, 2004 10:47:27 | I know a guy who mixed gaming with work.... But they shot, and dragged his carcass through the streets... but then again this was South Africa, and his game was sexual assault, and his work was a child daycare worker.... Oh well. I guess it could have been worse. I took a look in my SWRPG book, and yup sure enough there it is, almost a carbon copy but not 100% |
#13cam_banksJul 30, 2004 10:53:19 | Uh... Thanks, Apocalyp$e. I think. The DL noble is much like the Wheel of Time noble, too. All three are practically the same design. The version in DL includes the updated rules for Favors that the revised Star Wars d20 game had, which the WoT noble and original SW d20 rulebook noble didn't have. Cheers, Cam |
#14zombiegleemaxJul 30, 2004 11:06:29 | What is the Wheel of Time? I am not familiar with that. |
#15cam_banksJul 30, 2004 11:12:51 | Originally posted by Amaron Blackthorn You've seriously never heard of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books? Even if you can't stand them, they're one of the most popular fantasy novels in the world. Cheers, Cam |
#16iltharanosJul 30, 2004 12:39:24 | Originally posted by Amaron Blackthorn Basically there's this guy named Rand. Rand is really powerful. Rand kills everyone (except for women). Rand is somewhat mentally imbalanced, what with his hearing voices and all. Rand is "The One", ala the Matrix. Oh yeah, there are other people in the novels, but it's really all about Rand, Mr. Dragon Reborn to the people that are his fanatically devoted worshippers. |
#17wolf72Jul 30, 2004 20:24:03 | Originally posted by Cam Banks okay, so the differences are some minor tweaks (upgrades) from the DMG ... gotcha |
#18agent_34_dupAug 01, 2004 19:45:37 | Originally posted by iltharanos The real hero is Min. Everyone loves Min. The stories should be just about her and her greatness, she is far better then Rand who should have joined with Lanfear and ruled the world between the two of them. ^_^ |
