#1 jakob81 Aug 03, 2004 4:18:53	Hello to everybody! I wanted to manifest my presence in the forum with a question: what does Dementlieu's crest looks like, in your opinion? It's been almost two years I've been playing in Dementlieu, and I was trying to imagine what could be Dementlieu's heraldic crest. I was thinking something like... Two snakes hissing at each other? A stylized dame looking at herself in a mirror? Two snakes (again) each one biting the other's tail? A paintbrush? I'm at loss... Is there an officila source? Or, even better, can you suggest an idea? Thank you! PS: sorry for any spelling error you might notice...

I've drawn up my version of the Falkovnian flag, and the Dementlieuse flag, featuring a lighthouse, symbolizing the Lord Governor, and five stars, symbolizing the rest of the Council of Brilliance. Also check out the other Heraldrics, by RL author Chris Nichols! In the future, I might also add Richemulot and Borcas flag, but I'm not sure how it would be yet. #4 zombiegleemax Aug 05, 2004 18:27:40	Given the domain is dominated by the Council of Brilliance and sees itself as the most learned of the relams I concure that its crest ought to feature some source of light or illumination. I think I'd prefer a sun to a lighthouse though. A lighthouse guides ships safely into harbor. The sun is too bright to look at directly - possibly concealing just as much as the night. -Eric Gorman
