Those of you who want to play in this adventure will need to sign up at the Sovereign Press booth #409 prior to the scheduled time, and then come to the booth at the time of your game. Your DM will then take you to the game area. Legends of the Sovereign Stone is a living-style campaign based upon the d20 campaign setting developed by Sovereign Press and the novels written by the New York Times Best-selling Authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Create your own player character and take him or her from adventure to adventure and explore the world of Loerem . . . and gain experience and abilities as the campaign progresses. Your actions (or inaction) can help shape the world of Loerem to a safe and beautiful place or allow evil to spoil such beauty and have it to reign supreme for all time. Only you can help determine what happens next! Sponsored by the Universe Construction Company. To play Legends of the Sovereign Stone, you will need to register through GenCon’s event registration. Hickman’s Killer Breakfast on Saturday morning is a GenCon tradition. This year the Killer Breakfast celebrates 20 years of Dragonlance and includes several musical numbers written by Tracy and Laura Hickman. Oh… it will also be filled with lots of characters killed in very amusing ways. The Dragonlance Road Show returns after many years to bring back the original Dragonlance story. For the first time since GenCon 1984, the first story of the Heroes of the Lance will be presented by a cast that includes Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, and Laura Hickman. The original performance in 1984 took place before Dragons of Autumn Twilight was published, making it one of the first Dragonlance stories ever told. Join us in celebrating 20 years of Dragonlance with the Dragonlance Road Show. Immediately after the Road Show will be a showing of skill and swordsmanship by the Crossed Swords. Come cheer on the Bestiary of Krynn and Sovereign Press at the GenCon EN World Awards on Friday night. The Bestiary has been nominated for three awards, Best Monster Supplement, Best Licensed Product, and Best Interior Art. The award voting is open now. You can go to http://www.enworld.org/forums/news.php?page=ennies to vote, and then show up at the award ceremony to root for us! Margaret, Tracy, and Laura will all be available at the Sovereign Press booth #409 at various times throughout the convention to talk to fans and give autographs. We hope to see many of you at GenCon. Make sure you stop by the Sovereign Press booth and say ‘Hi!’. |

#11zombiegleemaxAug 11, 2004 0:21:41 | How long does the DL Demo game last? I'm trying to find a time to fit it into my Schedual while there and i need to make sure i'm not gonna miss any of my other events. Sounds like alot of fun though, I assume that the Pre-Gen Characters cover most, if not all, Core Classes that make sense during the time period (No Sorcerer's, Possibly No Clerics, No Mystic's, ect.)? |
#12kipper_snifferdoo_02Aug 11, 2004 8:18:04 | Originally posted by Teclis of House Magi The games last 4 hours starting at 10 and 2. (2 only Thursday and 10 only Sunday but there are multiple games being run) Sounds like alot of fun though, I assume that the Pre-Gen Characters cover most, if not all, Core Classes that make sense during the time period (No Sorcerer's, Possibly No Clerics, No Mystic's, ect.)? Hmm... I guess you'll just have to find out in about a week. But there are some interesting characters to say the least. ;) |
#13zombiegleemaxAug 11, 2004 8:23:46 | Originally posted by Teclis of House Magi The adventure we're running is set AFTER the War of the Lance, and there is a cleric in the party. We show off a few of the new prestige classes with the new characters as well, and several of the characters are actually from established Dragonlance sources! Jamie Chambers Sovereign Press, Inc. |
