Yaramuke and Sielba

I know that there are threads out there related to the above subject, but I'm unable to access them as the search function on the boards isn't working for me at the moment.

I'm curious to know what we *know* about Sielba and the city-state of Yaramuke. I don't need a layout or map so much as ideas about the culture and the architecture. Did Sielba have any epithets like Hamanu or Nibenay? Did she try and pass herself off as a goddess? I would imagine she had some military power and a bit of an ego/spine, since she tried to take on Hamanu, but other than that I can only guess.

For my own purposes I'm modeling Yaramuke after Constantinople--scaled down of course. I imagine the city straddling either side of a large river--now a dry river bed full of red dust--with Sielba's palace on an island in the middle. I know Hamanu leveled the city, so I imagine either side of the riverbed littered with marble columns and broken buildings--looking like an exposed skeleton amongst the red dust. Constantinople had a lot of temples and religious monuments: arches, columns, cisterns, etc. and I need things to name them after because my players enjoy depth and history.

Also, since Yaramuke was eliminated early on before the Gray Age really set in would anyone think it reasonable for the city to have the remains of a mage's academy or some such thing?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Maglaurus

We know . . . next to nothing at all. The only viable information about Yaramuke is from the Black Flames adventure, and its pretty scant on details. Anything else is personal interpretation and over extrapolation of vague details, what few there are. Basically, if you have the core DS box set and the adventure Black Flames, then you know about everything that has been written in canon.

Wasn't Sielba in the Rise and Fall of a Dragon King?
I think Hammanu killed her and then his armies sacked her city.

There was a 2e adventure done by someone that dwelved more into Seilba and Yaramuke.

One of these days when I find it again I'll get it up on my site or see if athas.org will post it in the unofficial section again.

Actually, nevermind, found it. That wasn't too hard. :D
