I'm currently running a KOD campaign and one of the players, a Silvanesti Wizard has acted in a fashion unbefitting an aspirant to the white robes. In a recent encounter the party defeated a bunch of Minotaurs (a race he despises and hates). After defeating the Minotaurs, he proceeded to coup de grace the two he cast sleep on . This was questionnable enough in my opinion but to do so he had to lie to his good friend and long time comrade Brom (Cleric of Kiri olith). Now to the question, should I tempt him to further dark acts and hence an alignment shift. We operate on a strict non-evil PC rule so this would result in his character becoming an NPC. I would appreciate any and all thoughts on this matter. |

But that act would definately be an evil act, and something that would cause him to fall from grace if you want put it like that. I would keep moving him down the path too. Maybe have an encounter with the Dark God of vengence in avatar form of an elf seeking to kill more minotaurs. |

Thing is I feel a bit bad (not enough to not do it) encouraging him as if he does go evil he will lose his character. I only run heroic games (bit of a 2nd edition hang on). |

Or I would guess... Lying to do it on the otherhand...to a friend nonthelesss...it could be interesting to see where that went... |
