#1zombiegleemaxAug 22, 2004 17:19:32 | Can someone give me a canonical list of all the Greyhawk gods that dwell on these two planes? It doesn't what pantheon (be it human or non-human), just so long as it's canonical as of 3.0/3.5. --thank you NB |
#2mortellanAug 23, 2004 0:16:03 | Well off the top of my head the only GH related beings who reside in these two planes are Tiamat and Grazzt. No major GH deities that I can think of live there. Most evil GH gods live in Carceri or Acheron or Hades. |
#3cebrionAug 23, 2004 8:03:28 | Lolth is a no-brainer. I imagine you mean what deities listed in the LGG live in these planes? I'll look up some info on it. Raxivort springs to mind, but maybe the little bugger ran off to Pandemonium after looting Grazzt's treasure vaults? I can't quite remember. |
#4zombiegleemaxAug 23, 2004 10:03:06 | I think he did. I'd have to look in my 1E stuff. The Greyhawk gods have always seemed to prefer to dwell on planes where they don't get caught up as much in fiendish politics. |
#5twicebornAug 23, 2004 16:40:29 | I get the impression that he also meant the "generic" demi-human, monstrous, and humanoid gods (i.e., those that seem to exist in all campaign settings, and which were included in the AD&D 2e product Monster Mythology)... |
#6cebrionAug 31, 2004 6:42:29 | The presentaions for the Orc gods in Dragon(somewhere around the mid 70's issue number-wise I think) were very good. I think that planes were mentioned there. I think that the Goblin gods were also done, along with some other humanoids like gnolls, bugbears, and others. Plus there were the Suel deities articles as well. I know that those ones mentioned planes. This may require a bit of digging. I knew I should have got the Dragon Magazine cd-rom with the built in topic search engine!!! I'll have to check and see if it is still available from anyone. |
