They mentioned in Chronicles that its been 5 years since the last time they saw each other. Was there a book where they say that to each other? I guess I just wanted to know if there was a book where the heroes were in a book before the time of Chronicles. |

Tanis and Flint met in Qualinost and left together for Solace. Sturm's mother was sent away from Solamnia when he was a baby to Solace, so he grew up knowing Kit, Caramon, and Raist. Goldmoon and Riverwind were from the same tribe of Que Shu (Sp??), and were teleported just outside of Solace in DoAT by the blue crystal staff Riverwind found. Tasslehoff showed up in Solace handled a brooch from FLints stall and ended up moving in with Flint there, can't rememer the exact reason why. Tanis and Kit dated on and off before she left Solace. Tanis gave someone (Sturm maybe) instructions on how to fight. I think that's everyone. That's the cut and dry how they all met. Like I said above if you want more ifo read The Meetings Sextet and you'll get all the juicy details. |

#4talinthasAug 23, 2004 10:05:42 | and i highly disagree. Meetings, especially the first few, are excellent and fun, as are preludes. |
#5kipper_snifferdoo_02Aug 23, 2004 10:09:08 | Let me look in this little book I like to call... the War of the Lance... According to the timeline... 288 AC Flint Fireforge meets Tanis 332 AC Tasslehoff arrives in Solace and meets Flint and Tanis 332 AC Raist and Caramon and Sturm are all hanging out together.. well more like Sturm and Caramon are... 344 AC "The Companions Gather". This was when Tanis, Flint and Tas finally meet up with Raist, Caramon and Sturm.. and you can include Kit with them of course... |

#7frostdawnAug 23, 2004 10:41:25 | Originally posted by jonesy If Darkness & Light was the one with Sturm, Kitiara, the gnomes and Lunitari, then I think that was the worst of that series IMHO. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun read, but compared to other Dragonlance stories, this was among the weakest ones to me. Although, I will have to second that gesture of grrr. Rassum frassum GenConers rubbing it in that they got books the rest of us schlubs have to wait for several more weeks for. |

#9zombiegleemaxAug 23, 2004 11:00:53 | Originally posted by jonesy lol, you make it seem like your opinion is the only one that matters =P I liked all the preludes except for Flint the King. But then again that is just my opinion |
#10brimstoneAug 23, 2004 11:12:06 | Originally posted by talinthas I enjoy them as well...especially Kindred Spirits and The Oath and the Measure. But, if you want a more accurate depiction of the original meetings of the Heroes (ala DL5 and Leaves from the Inn of the Last Home) read Soulforge. |
