Who is Alluvius Ruskin.

Aug 31, 2004 19:49:05 I picked up an old dnd model of alluvius ruskin and supposedly its from Planescape setting. can u tell me who she is. well it looks like a she anyway. thanks.

Aug 31, 2004 20:56:06 Elderly tiefling wizardress. Owner of Tivvum's Antiquities, the largest supplier of gate keys for Sigil. She is/was searching for the gem that holds the spirit of a wizard capable of defeating the Lady of Pain. She's also secretly a member of the Incantifiers, a mazed faction that eats magic.

Aug 31, 2004 22:25:48 Always bundles up in fairly heavy clothing and wears gloves and dark glasses. The glasses to hide her eyes which appear as shimmering balls of a liquid silvery substance. As long as she eats magic she doesn't effectively age and she has been in Sigil at least a couple hundred years.

Old 'lu is an interesting NPC and one that I've gotten some amusing use out of IMC.

Sep 01, 2004 3:20:10 yeah the model has little glasses perched on her nose, gloves with the tips cut off so her fingers stick out, she's got a walking stick, two horns sticking out of her hair and some stick with a knob on the end of it in her other hand, probably a wand since shes a wiz.
Does anyone have a description of her clothes colour scheme cause id like to paint her up to that. although ill probly get my brother to cause he paints pretty well.

Yes, I like her. I'm actually bussily writing a campaign in which she pops up now and again Like in Modron March, Dead Gods, then again in Faction War, but also in a number of the smaller modules and the proprieter of a certain shop of oddities and useful magics.

Does anyone have a description of her clothes colour scheme cause id like to paint her up to that. although ill probly get my brother to cause he paints pretty well.

I always imagined a kind of dull grey and blue type scheme, but that's probably due to the artistic style of Planescape. I think a basic rule of thumb when thinking of Sigil folk is to keep the colors toned down a bit.

Sep 01, 2004 16:57:57 Uncaged happens first chronologically. In Uncaged, she is looking for the Labyrinth Stone; in Faction War, she gets a hold of it and the PCs and Gifad have to stop her before she absorbs the Sigil spell.
