This information ended up being included in the Dragonlance DM's Screen 32-page reference booklet. The starting steel for these classes is as follows: Mariner 5d4 x 10 (125 stl average) Mystic 4d4 x 10 (100 stl average) Noble 8d4 x 10 (200 stl average) Note that while all characters get one starting outfit for free, the noble can choose to begin with a noble's outfit and a signet ring without additional cost.
